Gate4 is a compilation of 4 tracks recorded and released between april and may 2023. The first two tracks are some kind of synthesis between trance and drum'n'bass. I have always been fond of Trance's approach to sound. Hypnotic repetition and heavy use of ambiance will always have a place in my heart. Rhythmically though, I find Trance beats to be too stiff, lacking in groove (pov: youre' brazilian). I tried then to infuse both groove and speed into Trance music's sonic pallette. So there you go.
Tracks 3 and 4 are more laid back, having more of trip hop and garage. You could say these tracks are some kind of slowed down drum'n'bass track, but would you? I guess my biggest influence was mbv's MBV in a way. You will know it when you hear it.
